Programme Overview:
At the core of successful companies and public organisations is good leadership and management. Today’s managers in both public and private sector institutions must not only meet their day-to-day responsibilities but must also serve as recognized leaders to their teams. But what does good leadership entail? What skills and qualities are required of a good leader? This programme, offered jointly with the University of Pretoria, iS designed for leaders of companies, government agencies, NGOs, law firms, hospitals, educational institutions and others. It will equip participants with the knowledge needed to execute their role as leaders – including practical tools and strategies in transformational leadership, effective communication, team building, strategic decision- making and personal development. This programme is taught by Millard Arnold, a member of the ILI-SACE Board of Directors, whose career has demonstrated strong analytical and negotiating skills, strategic effectiveness, motivational leadership, political sensitivity, a commitment to excellence and a proven performance record of success in challenging situations.
